Bardic Competition Rules:
- All entries should be on a Celtic, Pagan, Druidic or Wiccan theme.
- Entrants may enter no more than two (2) works per category, and are limited to one (1) prize per category. Categories are Poetry and Music.
- All entries must be the original unpublished work of the author(s).
- All entries remain the copyrighted material of the author(s).
- The contest is open to anyone with a MWW membership except judges, sponsors, and MWW committee members. Volunteers for MWW are still eligible.
- Please submit two typed, double-spaced copies of each entry upon registration.
There will be first and second place prizes in each category.
It is requested that the entries be performed at the Bardic Competition at Magickal Winter Weekend on Saturday, January 26, 2008 from 4-6pm for final judging of the winners. Authors/creators may opt to have someone else perform the work in their stead.
Authors, creators, performers, entrants and any competition attendees must be members of the convention and are responsible for expenses incurred by entering and/or attending.
Contestant agrees that neither MWW, the staff or members or any affiliated groups or organizations, the judges, nor the sponsors of this contest or event are in any way liable, individually or severally, for any loss or damage associated with participation in this contest or event.
